The Beatport Tech House chart enters October with a heavyweight mix of established names, club-focused collaborations and tracks built firmly around the dancefloor.
At the time of writing, Volkoder and James Hype sit at No. 1 with “1,2,3 Extended”, released through Tomorrowland Music / SoundOn. Running at 127 BPM, the track leads a chart where the top positions show just how competitive the current Tech House market has become.
RSquared follows at No. 2 with “Ooo La La”, while Cloonee and Prospa’s collaboration with Sybil, “Free Your Mind”, occupies third place. CAMELPHAT are also strongly represented, with “Landlords Nightmare” at No. 4.
Cloonee appears again immediately afterwards with “Get Up and Dance”, released on Hellbent Records, confirming a significant presence across the current ranking.
One of the freshest entries near the top is Mark Knight, DJ PP and James Hurr’s “Miami Vice”. Released on Toolroom on September 25, the 126 BPM production sits at No. 6 and brings one of house music’s best-established labels into the upper section of the chart.
SIDEPIECE, Sapian, Kyle Watson and Walker & Royce complete another part of a Top 10 packed with recognizable club names, while Michael Bibi and Kettama’s collaboration with Wu-Tang Clan, “MYSTERY OF RAW”, currently closes the first ten positions.
Further down, Michael Bibi also appears with Baby Tate on “Feel This Grip”, while Green Velvet, Meduza, GENESI and ESSENTIA remain represented with “La La Land”.
The latest Beatport ranking therefore shows Tech House continuing to combine underground club functionality with increasingly ambitious collaborations.
For DJs searching for the records currently defining the genre, this week’s Top 100 offers plenty of material to explore.
