Who is making the biggest impact on Beatport right now?
The answer changes constantly, but the first week of October is already producing some clear names across Tech House, Techno and Melodic House & Techno.
We selected ten DJs and producers whose current chart performances deserve attention.
Solomun
A few days were enough for “DANGER DANGER” to reach the top of Beatport Tech House.
The collaboration with Skepta and Dom Dolla has immediately turned Solomun into one of this week’s biggest chart stories.
Dom Dolla
Sharing the No. 1 position with Solomun and Skepta, Dom Dolla adds another major release to an already highly visible period in his career.
Cloonee
Two strong records near the top of Tech House make Cloonee impossible to ignore.
“Free Your Mind” continues its impressive chart life while “Get Up and Dance” gives him another important entry.
James Hype
James Hype remains firmly connected to the Beatport Tech House elite.
His Volkoder collaboration “1,2,3 Extended” continues to compete with newer releases despite no longer holding the top position.
Mark Knight
“Miami Vice” puts Mark Knight back among the strongest-selling Tech House artists.
Alongside DJ PP and James Hurr, he continues to demonstrate the strength of the Toolroom sound.
CAMELPHAT
CAMELPHAT remain highly visible through “Landlords Nightmare”.
Their continued chart presence shows how naturally their music can move between several sides of contemporary club culture.
Adam Beyer
Few artists are having a stronger Techno week than Adam Beyer.
His remix of Faithless’ “We Come 1” leads the Peak Time chart while Drumcode occupies several of the positions directly underneath.
Charlotte de Witte
Charlotte de Witte once again appears in the upper reaches of Beatport Techno.
“The Resistance”, produced with Theo Nasa, keeps KNTXT firmly involved in the battle near the top.
Adriatique
In the melodic world, Adriatique remain one of the strongest-performing acts.
“Palm Of Your Hands” continues to hold one of the highest positions in Melodic House & Techno.
Cassian
Cassian’s “Come To Life” with AR/CO has shown impressive staying power.
Months after release, the record remains one of the most visible tracks in its category.
