E.T.H. (Italy) is the project of Siena-based DJ and producer Riccardo Pazzaglia, an artist whose career has developed from Italy’s underground minimal scene into an international touring and production path spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and Australia.
His story begins long before the international bookings.
Artist biographies describe Pazzaglia discovering minimal-infused house around the age of 14, during a period when the sound was becoming increasingly influential across Eastern and Southern European club culture. He spent the following years developing his taste and production technique before beginning to establish E.T.H. as a recording project.
Releases under the E.T.H. name can be traced back to 2013, when “Gangster Omii” appeared through Deepmentality Records.
From there, the project began a long evolution.
From Siena to the International Circuit
E.T.H.’s growth has not been based only on releases.
His touring history shows how far the project has travelled from its Tuscan origins.
Current biographies list appearances in European cities including Ibiza, Barcelona, Madrid, Prague, Vienna and Athens before expanding into destinations such as New York, Miami, Boston, Melbourne, Sydney, Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, Bangkok, Nairobi, Medellín and other cities across several continents.
Resident Advisor listings also document appearances in Asia, including Bangkok and Beijing, while his 2022 Australian debut was promoted around a catalogue of minimal-house productions and international DJ support.
That international development mirrors the evolution of his productions.
The further the touring expanded, the broader the catalogue became.
The Early Records
E.T.H.’s earliest documented material sits firmly inside underground house and minimal territory.
After “Gangster Omii” in 2013 came projects including “Sushimako” on Monet in 2014, material for Re.Face and Psicodelica, and “La Jente” through System 108 in 2017.
A particularly interesting moment from that period is the Kamouflage Verses EP.
A 2026 Resident Advisor event biography notes that Michael Bibi remixed material from the project for Spartacus Lab in 2017, illustrating that E.T.H.’s productions were already reaching notable names within the underground house scene relatively early in his career.
Labels Become a Key Part of the Story
As the project developed, the list of labels became increasingly important.
E.T.H. has appeared on imprints connected to several distinct corners of contemporary house and minimal culture.
In 2021, he collaborated with T. Jacques on Universe E.P. for Dark Side Of The Sun, the label associated with Luuk van Dijk.
In 2022 came “Kosmos” on Avotre and “Muzzy Robot” with Mariche on Ball Park Records.
Then, in 2023, E.T.H. entered Archie Hamilton’s MicroHertz catalogue with “Out Of Focus” on the One Year Of MicroHertz compilation.
That same year brought the Wolfy EP on Leon’s FUTURA.
The three-track package — “Wolfy”, “Hypno Time” and “Lost Planets” — became one of the clearest examples of his minimal/deep-tech identity, combining rolling rhythms, hypnotic movement and acid-inflected passages.
Hottrax Adds Another Major Connection
Late 2023 added another significant name to the discography.
E.T.H. collaborated with Samuele Scelfo and Joshee on “Repeat”, released by Jamie Jones’ Hottrax.
That release matters because Hottrax sits at the intersection between underground credibility and the wider international tech-house market.
By this point, E.T.H. was no longer simply a developing Italian producer.
He had accumulated releases across several influential imprints while simultaneously touring internationally.
Profiles from the period and later event biographies cite support from artists including Enzo Siragusa, Traumer, Archie Hamilton, ANOTR, The Martinez Brothers, Jamie Jones, Janeret, Rossko, Varhat and others.
A Catalogue That Keeps Changing
E.T.H. did not remain fixed in the sound that initially defined him.
His 2024 project Retro Future on Pandemonium included the title track, a Lucretio remix and “Bathroom Line”, while Interstellar with Palmiz appeared through Gestalt Records.
In 2025, the collaboration with Palmiz continued through the Piranha Club EP on Dionysus Records.
The package included “Piranha Club”, “Feel This” and “Killacutz”, alongside an ADR (UK) remix.
Then came 2026 — arguably one of the most active phases of the project so far.
A Busy 2026
“Lovely Day” opened the year’s visible release run in March through ORCH.
At 133 BPM, it was classified as House on Beatport and demonstrated the broader direction E.T.H. had begun exploring.
April brought Stupendush EP through Sensazione Stupenda Records, including remixes from Nu Zau and Andy Somoza.
May followed with “Strong”, produced with Davide Malatesta for Revival New York, and “Trance Atlantico” on Valkea Music.
“Trance Atlantico” pushed further toward progressive and trance influences while maintaining a house-driven structure, with Federico Grazzini and Phil Anker providing remixes.
Then came Terminator Bell.
Released on Exploited Club in July, the three-track package brought together “Terminator Bell”, “Techno Infernal” and “Amstel”. Exploited positioned the project between jackin' minimal, deep house, early-tech aesthetics and trippy progressive influences.
Early support included Palms Trax, Marco Carola, Subb-an, James Zabiela, Archie Hamilton and Raresh.
September then added an E.T.H. remix of Benjamin (IT)’s “Basebass” through Out of Work, continuing a year already packed with different collaborations and label connections.
An Artist Built Around Movement
The defining characteristic of E.T.H. (Italy) may be movement.
Movement between Siena and international dancefloors.
Movement between minimal, deep tech, house and more progressive sounds.
And movement between smaller underground labels and internationally established imprints such as Hottrax, MicroHertz and Exploited Club.
Beatport’s catalogue currently shows the majority of his output concentrated in Minimal / Deep Tech, but also significant numbers of Tech House, Deep House and House releases.
That distribution reflects the story of the project better than any single genre label.
E.T.H. began with minimal-infused house and built outward.
More than a decade after his earliest documented releases, Riccardo Pazzaglia continues doing exactly that: travelling, producing and extending the boundaries of the E.T.H. sound one record at a time.
